Surpassed National Average: Arvind Kejriwal On Delhi Government Schools’ CBSE Results

Today, the CBSE board announced the class 10th and 12th results for over 39,81,266 students who appeared for the session 2023-24 board examinations.

The performance of government schools has been remarkable with an overall 88.23 percent pass percentage. In this category, Trivandrum got the top rank with an overall 100% pass percentage in the government schools consecutively for the second year. The government schools in Vijayawada and Bengaluru region also performed exceptionally well in the southern belt schools.

Among North India”s CBSE affiliated schools, the government schools in Delhi East and Delhi West performed best with an overall 94.39% and 98% pass percentage. The Delhi”s overall pass percentage remains at 96.2% which is above than the national average of 88.23%.

Delhi Chief Minister applauded the performance of goverment schools in his state. He said that the performance of the government schools in his state has surpassed the CBSE national average in the results announced today. He also said the CBSE Class 12 results of this year is also better than last year.

“Delhi government schools have got a fantastic result of 96.99%, in the Class 12 CBSE exam! Not only does this surpass our own performance of last year, but it surpasses the CBSE national average as well:

Delhi Govt schools:

2022-23: 91.59%

2023-24: 96.99%

National: 88.23%
