The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is likely to declare the Civil Service Examination (CSE) 2023 result this week, as per the reports. The result will be available on the commission’s official website – upsc.gov.in. However, no official date has been confirmed yet by the commission regarding the result declaration. Once released, candidates who appeared for the personality test (interview) can check their results through UPSC official website.
Notably, the UPSC CSE exam is conducted in 3 different stages – prelims, mains, and interviews. The preliminary examination was conducted on May 28 and the main exam was held on September 15 – 19, 2023. The interviews were commenced on January 4 and April 9, 2024.
This year UPSC aims to fill 1,105 vacancies in services at the central government including the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, and Indian Foreign Service among others. The result link will get activated once the result is announced at the official website – upsc.gov.in.

Step 3: A PDF file will be opened in a new window.
Step 4: Search for the roll number in the PDF.
Step 5: Save/print out the PDF for future reference.
Outstanding performance of women in UPSC CSE 2022
Last year’ UPSC CSE 2022, Delhi’s Ishita Kishore secured an All-India Rank 1. Moreover, the top four ranks were secured by women– Ishita Kishore, Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N, and Smriti Mishra. The year 2022 registered the highest number of women recommended for the services. Out of a total of 933 seats, 320 women secured various ranks in the central services.
