Bihar Assembly Election Results Live Updates: Initial Trend Shows NDA Leads As Counting Underway

Patna, Bihar: The counting for all 243 assembly constituencies has started at 8 am today, Friday. The counting occurs at 46 counting centers across the 38 districts of Bihar.

The elections for all the constituencies in the state were held in two phases on 6th and 11th this month.

Early trends of the result will began to appear one hour after the counting process. The state had recorded the highest ever polling percentage of 67.13 per cent since 1951 during this time, suggesting a fierce fight.

Both the BJP-led ruling NDA and the opposition are confident to win the elections. Early on Friday, RJD leader and Mahagathbandhan’s chief ministerial face Tejashwi Yadav expressed his confidence statin that they are going to win, and that there will be a change this time.

Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain asserted that the NDA government is certain about its victory stating that “Just as the sunrise is guaranteed, so is the NDA’s victory.”

As counting is underway, it has began to show the candidates who are leading in all the constituencies in the Bihar. It appears that the NDA is ahead of Mahagathbandhan as per the early trends.

As per the early trends in the Siwan election vote count, Mangal Pandey of Bharatiya Janata Party is leading ahead of Awadh Bihari Choudhary of RJD by 1071 votes.

14 November 2025, 10:05 am: RJD’s Deepak Yadav Leads In Narkatiaganj Assembly Constituency

RJD’s Deepak Yadav is leading in Bihar’s Narkatiaganj assembly constituency as counting for all 243 constituencies are going on. The RJD candidate, a fresh face to the constituency, is leading with over 542 votes against BJP’s Sanjay Pandey. Currently, the constituency is being represented by the BJP’s Rashmi Varma.

As counting of votes has begun in Bihar’s Hathua. Initial trends show that Ramsewak Singh of JD(U) is leading. In the last Assembly Election held in 2020, Rajesh Kumar Singh from the RJD won the Hathua seat with 57.24% of the total votes polled.

Hathua is an assembly constituency in Gopalganj district in the Indian state of Bihar. In 2020, Rajesh Kumar Singh Kushwaha of Rashtriya Janata Dal defeated Ramsewak Singh Kushwaha of Janata Dal (United) to emerge victorious.

As counting is underway for 243 assembly constituencies in Bihar, the BJP’s Nand Kishor Ram is leading in Ramnaga Assembly Constituency. Currently, the constituency is being represented by BJP’s Bhagirathi Devi who won the the 2020 assembly elections securing a total of 75,423 votes.
