As the campaign for the Bihar Assembly elections intensifies, top national leaders from both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the opposition INDIA bloc are set to hold major rallies across the state on Thursday (October 30, 2025).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that he would address two rallies in Muzaffarpur and Saran, marking his second round of campaign events in Bihar after launching the NDA campaign with back-to-back rallies in Samastipur and Begusarai earlier on October 24.

In a social media post, the Prime Minister expressed confidence that voters in Bihar would ensure a “grand victory” for the BJP-NDA alliance.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to address public meetings in Nalanda and Sheikhpura, bolstering the INDIA bloc’s campaign in the state. Gandhi’s recent outreach efforts have focused on youth and employment issues, themes that are central to the opposition’s election narrative.

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is slated to hold four election meetings across Lakhisarai, Munger, Nalanda, and Patna, where he is expected to continue his sharp criticism of the INDIA bloc.

During a rally on Wednesday, Shah alleged that RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and Congress leader Sonia Gandhi were attempting to promote dynastic politics by seeking to make their sons, Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi, the Chief Minister and Prime Minister respectively, asserting that “both posts are not vacant.”

BJP president J.P. Nadda will also campaign in Buxar and Patna, rounding off a high-profile day of rallies for the NDA. The extensive outreach reflects the alliance’s push to consolidate its position in the state amid a strong challenge from the opposition.

On the opposition front, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav reiterated the INDIA bloc’s promises outlined in its recently released manifesto, describing it as a “resolution and commitment” to the people of Bihar. He assured that every pledge would be fulfilled if the alliance were voted to power.

Adding to the electoral momentum, LJP (Ram Vilas) MP Shambhavi Choudhary expressed confidence in an NDA victory, predicting that the alliance would cross 225 seats, reaffirming support for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership.
