Patna, Bihar: As counting for the 243 assembly constituencies in Bihar is about to end, the ruling NDA is all set for a landslide victory, with significant lead against the opposition Mahagathbandhan. The NDA is leading in 190 constituencies while the opposition in just 48 seats, suggesting a massive victory for the BJP-JD(U) alliance in Bihar.

The counting for all 243 assembly constituencies has started at 8 am today, Friday. The counting occurs at 46 counting centers across the 38 districts of Bihar. The elections for all the constituencies in the state were held in two phases on 6th and 11th this month.

As counting continues, the ruling NDA is ahead in 190 seats as the opposition Mahagathbandhan crashes.

14 November 2025, 11: 45 am: RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav Trailing From Sitting Raghopur

RJD chair and the opposition Mahagadpanthan’s chief ministerial candidate, Tejashwi Yadav, is trailing from his sitting Raghopur constituency as the counting entered its third phase. The BJP candidate, Satish Kumar, has taken the lead with 12,230 votes, gaining 1,273 votes since the previous round.

BJP candidate Satish Kumar has taken the lead, securing 17599 votes. The RJD leader, who has been representing the constituency since 2015 as the party’s citadel, is trailing with 14583 votes.

As per the latest data, ruling NDA is headed for a landslide victory in Bihar assembly elections. The NDA is all set for massive victory, with the alliance leading in 193 constituencies while the opposition Mahagathbandhan flops.

RJD’s Deepak Yadav is leading in Bihar’s Narkatiaganj assembly constituency as counting for all 243 constituencies are going on. The RJD candidate, a fresh face to the constituency, is leading with over 542 votes against BJP’s Sanjay Pandey. Currently, the constituency is being represented by the BJP’s Rashmi Varma.

As counting of votes has begun in Bihar’s Hathua. Initial trends show that Ramsewak Singh of JD(U) is leading. In the last Assembly Election held in 2020, Rajesh Kumar Singh from the RJD won the Hathua seat with 57.24% of the total votes polled.
