In Dadri assembly constituency, BJP’s Sunil Satpal Sangwan wins the election. He won the election by defeating Indian National Congress’ Manisha Sangwan. Satpal won the election with a narrow margin of 1957 votes.

Dadri assembly constituency lies in the Charkhi Dadri district of Haryana. During the 2019 Haryana Assembly election, Independent candidate Somveer Sangwan won the election with the margin of 14,272 votes. Somveer won the seat by defeating Jannayak Janta Party’s (JJP) Satpal Sangwan.

In 2014 assembly election, Indian National Lok Dal’s (INLD) Rajdeep won the seat by defeating Somvir from BJP, by the margin of 1,610 votes.

As per the data from Election Commission of India, the estimated voter turn-out of the 2024 Haryana assembly election was 67.3 percentage. In the 2019 election, the voter turn-out was 75.11 percentage.

There are total of 18 candidates in the fray vying for the seat. The key players are Indian National Congress’ Manisha Sangwan, BJP’s Sunil Sangwan, and JJP’s Rajdeep Phogat.
