The Mangol Puri constituency of Delhi is witnessing a crucial contest with AAP fielding Rakesh Javat, replacing the incumbent minister and the 3-time winner Rakhi Brila. This time Rakesh Javat is fielded against Raj Kumar Chauhan from BJP and Hanuman Sahay Alias Hanuman Chauhan from INC.

This Mangol Puri constituency has been witnessing the victory of the AAP party since the 2013 election. The AAP candidate Rakhi Brila had been the face of the party in the constituency for over a decade. This election plays a crucial role in Mangol Puri’s political environment, since AAP replaced Rakhi Brila Rakesh Javat.
