Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav said on Monday that his party”s election slogan, PDA, will become the strength of Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA). While addressing media in the Madhya Pradesh”s Damoh, SP leader said: “PDA will become the strength of the INDIA alliance.”
He added that party said this in the very first day that PDA will be the strategy which going to give strength to INDIA or any alliance. SP chief then stressed that he is of conviction that considering the environment developing in India, PDA”s strength will oust BJP from the national capital.
Adding further, Mr Yadav said: “If there”s a strategy of the INDIA alliance then it”s our PDA.” Regarding BJP rule, he said that BJP doesn”t trust in democracy, instead it “believes in “Loottantra.””
PDA is a term coined bye SP and it refers to “Pichada, Dalit, Alpsankhyak-Muslims” i.e., backward, Dalits and minorities, especially Muslims. Also, PDA address to the 85% of the total population in the Uttar Pradesh.
At present, SP President is actively campaigning in Madhya Pradesh ahead of its assembly elections. On Sunday, addressing an election rally in State’s Tikamgarh, former Uttar Pradesh chief minister stated that Congress is a “clever” party and they wanted caste-based census merely for sake of votes.
SP and Congress are part of INDIA bloc, a grouping formed by the oppositional parties to fight against BJP in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Earlier, concerning the seat sharing on Madhya Pradesh Assembly polls, a drift developed between SP and Congress, and resulting unsatisfactory discussions and exchange of words, former decided to contest in the state alone.
Madhya Pradesh will go to polls on November 17, and the counting of the votes will take place on December 3.
