The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Satpal Jamba has won Haryana’s Pundri Assembly constituency with 42,805 votes. Coming second is Satbir Bhana, an independent candidate, who won 40,608 votes.
Indian National Congress candidate Sultan Jadaula came third with 26,341 votes. According to the data by the Election Commission, Jamba secured the seat with a margin of 2197 votes.
Randhir Singh Gollen secured the seat in the 2019 assembly elections with over 41,000 votes, defeating Congress’ Satbir Bhana who won over 28,000 votes.
The Pundri assembly constituency is part of Kaithal district, and encompasses the town of Pundri and some surrounding areas.
