Rajasthan Assembly Elections Result: BJP’s Jawaharsingh Bedham Wins Nagar Constituency

BJP candidate Jawaharsingh Bedham defeated Congress candidate Wajib Ali in Nagar Constituency. Nagar witnessed a tough fight between BJP and Congress . Aazad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) candidate Nem Singh who came third has garnered 46314 votes.

The elections to Rajasthan State Assembly was held on November 25, 2023 for 199 seats. In the last year Assembly elections held in Nagar, Wajib Ali won the elections. The total number of valid votes  then was 171163. Anita was the female candidate won the election of Nagar in 2008 and 2013. In 2013 assembly elections, Anita had defeated Wajib Ali. Anita got 44670 where Wajib Ali could secure only 36557 votes. The constituency had 189410 voters then. In 2008, Anita defeated Attar Singh.

Along with Rajasthan, the Assembly elections were held in four other states including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram.
