Congress candidate Murari Lal Meena defeated BJP”s Shankar Lal Sharma in the Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023. Murari Lal Meena polled 98238, Shankar Lal Sharma came second with 67034 votes. Aazad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) candidate Radha Shyam Meena who came third has garnered 11751 votes.
The elections to Rajasthan State Assembly was held on November 25 199 seats. In 2018 Murari Lal Meena won the elections by defeating BJP”s Shankar Lal. When Congress received 99004 votes and Shankar Lal received only 50048 votes. In 2003 , BJP defeated Congress, wherein former polled 42138 votes and latter came second with 32069 votes. The total electors was 168470 in 2003.
Along with Rajasthan, the Assembly elections were held in four other states including Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram.
