23 Years of Bonding, One Beautiful Wedding: Ashlesha Savant Ties Knot With Sandeep Baswana
Actor Ashlesha Savant, known for her memorable roles in Anupamaa and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, has finally tied the knot with her partner of 23 years, actor Sandeep Baswana.
The couple, who have been together since 2002, surprised fans with their heartwarming wedding announcement on Instagram.
The newlyweds shared their dreamy pictures in a joint post, giving fans a glimpse of their intimate, spiritual ceremony held in Vrindavan.

According to reports, Ashlesha and Sandeep got married on 16 November at the Chandrodaya Temple in Vrindavan. The ceremony was extremely private, attended only by close family members.
For the wedding, Ashlesha chose a graceful pink saree that reflected her love for simplicity, while Sandeep coordinated in a baby pink kurta-pyjama with a matching jacket. The serene backdrop of the Radha-Krishna temple added an emotional touch to the celebration.
Speaking about why they chose Vrindavan, Sandeep told Times of India: “We visited Vrindavan in April and felt a deep connection with the Radha-Krishna temples. That trip inspired us to get married after being together for 23 years. Our parents are the happiest; they’ve been waiting for this moment for so long.”
Ashlesha and Sandeep first met on the sets of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2002. She played Teesha Mehta Virani, and he played Sahil Virani.
Their real-life bond started quietly — Ashlesha lived far from the set, and she often stayed at Sandeep’s place to avoid long, late-night travel. What began as convenience soon turned into companionship, and the two became inseparable.
The couple has been living together for many years, openly speaking about their strong, steady, and deeply committed relationship.
Ashlesha is currently part of the television show Jhanak, which features Hiba Nawab, Krushal Ahuja, Arjit Taneja, Twinkle Arora, Riya Sharma, and Rajveer Singh. Before this, she played the role of Barkha, Anuj’s sister-in-law, in the hit show Anupamaa.
Sandeep, on the other hand, was last seen in the 2024 show Apollena and has been selective with his roles in recent years.
