What would it be to watch the superstars of Bollywood, Ajay Devgn and Aamir Khan, share the screens again? Yes, superstars have expressed their desire to collaborate again, potentially for the sequel of their 1997 romantic comedy Ishq.
During the launch of the film Tera Yaar Hoon Main on Saturday, the actors dropped the news of a potential sequel. Tera Yaar Hoon Main marks the directorial debut of filmmaker Indra Kumar’s son, Aman. The event was graced by both the stars.

During the event, the actors reminisced of their time during the days of the romcom Ishq, which also starred Juhi Chawla and Kajol as the female leads.
Ajay, who is basking the success of his latest sequel, Singham Again, told Aamir, “We had so much fun on the sets of Ishq, we should do another one.”
Agreeing with Ajay, Aamir then revealed that the film’s director, Kumar, was considering the possibility of a sequel with both the actors. As this excited the audience, the director also expressed his excitement and said that he would be speaking to the actors again in detail in this regard.
Making the event even more exciting, Aamir recounted how Ajay came to his rescue when a chimpanzee attacked him during the filming of Ishq. Adding some much-needed context, the Singham Again actor added that it happened because of Aamir and revealed that the actor was spraying water on the chimpanzee and then ran around like a girl, shouting, “bachao bachao.”

The duo also wished Aman on his debut venture. The debut director expressed his gratitude as it was launched by two of the greatest idols and superstars of the country. The film also stars Paresh Rawal and Akanksha Sharma.
The 1997 romcom stars Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, Juhi Chawla, and Kajol in lead roles, along with Dilip Tahil and Mohan Joshi in supporting roles. The film received good reception from the audience during its release and grossed Rs 500 million at the box office and emerged as the third highest grossing film of the year.
