Actor Ajith, currently under the spotlight for his prestigious Padma Bhushan win, has been admitted to a private hospital in Chennai today after he suffered from a minor leg injury. Official health updates of the actor are yet to be released.
As per recent reports, the Good Bad Ugly actor suffered a minor leg injury after he was mobbed by paparazzi and fans at the Chennai Airport on Tuesday while he made his way back from Delhi. Ajith is reportedly undergoing physiotherapy treatment at Apollo Hospital in Chennai and is expected to be discharged this evening.

The sudden hospitalisation of the actor has raised concerns among fans, since no official statement was released from the actor’s team, especially his manager, Suresh Chandra. According to reports, AK has assured fans that there is nothing to be worried about regarding his health.
After receiving the prestigious Padma Bhushan award, the actor and his family reached Chennai on April 29. The award recognised his immense contributions to art and cinema. However, the actor was mobbed at the airport by a huge crowd that was awaiting his return.

Upon his return, Ajith received a grand welcome at the airport, where airline staff and well-wishers celebrated his Padma Bhushan win. A small cake-cutting event was organised, and the actor expressed heartfelt thanks to his fans.
On receiving the honour, Ajith expressed how it felt surreal, and the feeling was yet to sink in.
