Rajinikanth and Vijay, the two biggest stars of Tamil cinema, are known for their massive fanbase. The legendary actors also receive immense admiration and loyalty from their supporters. Even though the actors hold respect for each other, the heated comments and criticisms exchanged between their respective fan groups often make headlines.
Recently, a digital clash between both fan groups caught the attention of the public. Followed by a derogatory remark on Vijay sparked significant controversy, Rajinikanth’s camp officially released a statement condemning the offensive comment made against the actor.

On X, someone claiming to be a Rajinikanth fan made a disrespectful comment about the GOAT actor, which included calling for eggs to be thrown on Vijay. The remarks quickly spread across social media and ignited tension between both the fan bases.
The issue caught the public’s attention and raised concerns about the possible impact it might create in the film industry. Intending to end the ongoing online rivalry, Rajinikanth’s team issued a statement condemning the actions of the fans.
As per Times Now, the statement issued by Rajinikanth’s team read, “These remarks are entirely unacceptable and go against the principles upheld by true Rajinikanth fans.”
It cautioned, “The repeated sharing of such harmful content only fosters division and animosity. Media and social networks should take responsibility and refrain from perpetuating such incidents.”

The rivalry between various fan groups has been stirring the internet from time to time. Earlier, the Vettaiyan actor also addressed these issues during a press event ahead of the release of his upcoming film, Lal Salaam.
Rajinikanth had mentioned how he witnessed Thalapathy Vijay grow up right before his eyes. As a result, the question of rivalry between them was pointless. Moreover, the senior actor also remembered their first meeting, where he advised Vijay to concentrate on his studies and finish his schooling.
On the work front, Rajinikanth has Coolie with Lokesh Kanagaraj lined up next. He also has Jailer 2 in the making. Meanwhile, Thalapathy Vijay is all set for his alleged last film, Jana Nayagan, before entering into full-time politics.
