Sachein, a carefree and happy-going guy, joins a college in Ooty and falls for Shalini immediately on seeing her at first sight and there begins the interesting ride of Sachein and Shalini. With heartwarming twists and turns, the film also explores the themes of love, friendship, and self-discovery.

Other interesting factors, which elevated the film, were the iconic songs composed by Vidyasagar, which echo in the audience’s mind even today.
