Chhaava, the anticipated release of the biographical film of Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, is around the corner. The duo, who is extensively promoting the film through various fan events, offered prayers at the Golden Temple on Monday, ahead of the release.

With the release date around the corner, the Chhaava team has been promoting the film in a full-fledged way. From visiting sacred places to participating in fan events, the team has been preparing the arena for the historic film’s grand launch.

Both Vicky and Rashmika paid a visit to the Golden Temple and offered prayers there with the Chhaava team.

Resonating hope and faith, the Bad Newz actor shared the pics and wrote on his social media handle, “Here’s something about #SriHarmandirSahib! The peace, the divinity, the power of prayer. Vicky, who portrays the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, opened up about his preparation for the role. Acknowledging the fact that a biopic needs a lot of preparations, Vicky said that working on a historic subject was challenging.

“As an actor, the preparation is not only physical but also mental. There was action training, bodybuilding training, and also doing research on the history, as it was important to understand that period,” he added.

The Laxman Utekar film, an adaptation of Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel Chhava, narrates the story of valour, courage, and vengeance. It is all set to portray an escalating and bloody war between the Marathas and Mughals. The production of Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films is all set to amaze the audience on screens on February 14.
