
All About Director Shankar's Game Changer And The Unpaid Due Controversy
Director Shankar’s political thriller Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, has been facing back-to-back issues since its release. And this time the film has found itself in a controversy after a group of actors from the film filed a police complaint regarding the unpaid payments.
As per the reports, a group of background actors, approximately around 350 extras from Guntur and Vijayawada, has filed a complaint at the Guntur police station, alleging that they were promised Rs 1,200 for each as a payment for their participation in the movie’s shoot.
It was also revealed that the extras traveled to Hyderabad for filming after being assured of payment by co-director Swargam Shiva. However, now, the extras have alleged that they have not been paid the money to date.

The artist crew has accused Shiva of cheating them and is demanding action against him. They also demanded director Shankar and producer Dil Raju to take measures on this matter. However, neither director Shankar nor the production house have issued an official statement regarding this allegation.

The movie released on January 10 was expected to be a blockbuster. But in contrast to the expectations, the film witnessed a disappointing collection at the box office. Initially, it opened with a promising number of Rs 51.25 crore at the box office but later it witnessed a dip in its collection. Despite its impressive budget of over Rs 400 crore, the film bombed at the box office, collecting just Rs. 186 crore worldwide.
