British Actress Amy Jackson garnered a lot of attention in social media after posting a couple of pictures of herself from an event she took part. Her new look resembled the talented actor of Oppenheimer, Cilian Murphy. The photos posted looks totally unrecognisable and fans were not able to digest her new looks. The netizens were completely disappointed to see her in ‘non-desi’ outfit. The photograph was subjected to scrutiny and criticism.

Usually, most of the actresses opt not to respond to such trolls coming up on their fashion looks. But Amy broke silence and shared her thoughts on the insensitive and hurtful comments, she said to The Times Of India, “I’m an actor and I take my job very seriously. For the last month, I”ve been filming a new project in the UK. So, for the character I am playing, I had to slim down and fully commit myself to the role. The online outcry from the (mainly male) Indian demographic is quite sad. I have worked with male co-stars who had to drastically change their look for a film, and they were highly praised for it. The moment a woman does it through unusual hair and makeup that doesn”t conform to their idealism of beauty, they think they have the right to troll you.”
Responding to the comments saying that her looks resembles that of Cilian Murphy, Oppenheimer actor made her feel ‘over the moon’. And she is ready to get her Birmingham accent ready for a comeback.
Jackson worked in films like Akshay Kumar’s Singh is Bliing and Rajinikanth starrer 2.0. It was last week she shared her photos with her boyfriend Ed Westwick on her Instagram page. Amy was earlier engaged to George Panayiotou. She is now dating ‘Gossip Girl’ actor Ed Westwick.
