Arya To Pushpa: Sukumar - The Mastermind Behind Tollywood's Biggest Hits.
Sukumar is a name that needs no introduction in the Telugu film industry. This talented director has been making waves in the industry with his unique storytelling style and complex characters beginning right from the movie Arya.

Sukumar grew up in a small town in Andhra Pradesh who was born on January 11, 1970, He developed a passion for mathematics and physics which led him to become a lecturer at a junior college. However, his true calling was in filmmaking, and he soon made the switch.
Sukumar began his career in the film industry as a writer and assistant director. He worked on several films, including “Bavagaru Bagunnara” and “Dil.” His big break came when he directed his first film, Arya in 2004.
Director Sukumar’s films are known for their complex characters and uncanny stories as he proved those in his movies including Arya, Arya 2, 100% Love, 1:Nenokkadine and Pushpa: The Rise.
His films have had a monumental impact on the Telugu film industry. He has been credited with revolutionising the industry with his magnificence and has won several accolades. He bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Director and Nandi Award for Best Screenplay Writer for his movie Arya.
Sukumar is married to Thabitha Hamsini, whom he met at the screening of his film Arya. The couple has a daughter and a son, named Sukriti and Sukranth, respectively.
The upcoming film Pushpa 2, directed by Sukumar has gained much hype in recent times with its gripping trailer and exquisite song release.

Recently, the team of Pushpa 2 organised a pre-release event in Hyderabad which was attended by the entire cast and crew.

During the event, Sukumar commended Allu Arjun’s prolific work and dedication to the film. The director said, “Talking about Allu Arjun, one thing is certain: my journey began with Arya. I have seen Bunny working hard and growing over the years, watching him closely. If Pushpa is what it is today, it’s because of my love for Allu Arjun.”

Sukumar’s heartfelt words brought Allu Arjun to tears and the actor was seen getting emotional on stage. The director further added, “When I first approached you, I didn’t have a full story, just two lines. Your dedication made me believe we could achieve anything. This is for you, Allu Arjun.”
The event was attended by the entire team of Pushpa 2, including Rashmika Mandanna, Sreeleela, and SS Rajamouli.
Now, with the Pushpa 2: The Rule release on December 5, fans are eagerly waiting to see what he has in store for them.
