The Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurana and Sara Ali Khan are uniting for the first time for an action comedy by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment. The film”s production has already begun and the title is yet to be revealed.
Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, revealed the details through a post on X (formerly known as Twitter). The post read “Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment reunite, this time for an action-comedy headlined by #AyushmannKhurrana and #SaraAliKhan. Written and directed by Aakash Kaushik… This is Dharma and Sikhya’s third theatrical collaboration… Shooting has begun… The title will be announced soon.”

The film would mark the first-ever collaboration between the two Bollywood stars. It will also mark the directorial debut of Aakash Kaushik, following his success with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 as a writer. The new project is expected to be an action ride with impeccable comedy by Ayushmann.
Marking the reunion of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment, the new project is written and directed by Kaushik. This would also be the third theatrical collaboration between the two production houses with their previous projects including the critically acclaimed The Lunch Box (2013) and Kill (2023).
Ayushmann Khurrana, known for his versatility and impeccable comedy timing and acting chops, has already established himself as an acclaimed singer who is now on the way to take his voice to the global audience. Khurrana has signed a global recording deal with Warner Music India, the country’s one of the leading music labels. The actor was last seen in his movie Dream Girl 2.
Meanwhile, Sara was last seen in the periodic drama Ae Watan Mere Watan, released on Prime Video.
