'DD Next Level' Trailer Out: Santhanam, GVM Promise A Hilarious Horror Spoof
The trailer of the horror sequel featuring Santhanam, DD Next Level, is out! The film includes a star-studded cast such as Selvaraghavan, Kingsley, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Geethika Tiwary, Yashika Aannand, Kasthuri Shankar, Nizhalgal Ravi, and Rajendran. The trailer promises a Santhanam-style hilarious comedy entertainer.
The fourth instalment of the DD horror franchise was written and directed by S. Prem Anand and jointly produced by actor Arya’s The Show People and Niharika Entertainment. After a long wait, the film is now scheduled to hit theatres on May 16.

The trailer introduces Santhanam as a movie reviewer who gets trapped in a horror movie and is demanded to give an honest review of the film. And so begins the hilarious ride filled with nostalgic references, humorous mockery, and lots of meta jokes.
With director GVM portraying the role of Raghavan, an investigation officer, the film revolves around movie characters who have no recollection of the real world. Amidst all the hilarious spoofs, the recreation of GVM’s iconic Kaakha Kaakha scene has proven the film’s extensive level of hilarious imitations.
Speaking about the film, director Prem Kumar said, “DD Returns was a huge success with a great response from the audience from all walks of life. We worked on the script of its sequel for one year. From children to adults, everyone will laugh and enjoy this flick too.”

Dipak Kumar Padhy has done the cinematography of DD Next Level, and Ofro has scored its music. Bharath is in charge of editing, and AR Mohan has handled the film’s art direction. The trailer was officially released by actor Vishal and is now being widely shared by renowned actors like STR, Karthi and others.
