Dhanush Movie Raayan’s “Adangaatha Asuran” Single OutOscar winning music director AR Rahman released the first single from Dhanush-starrer Raayan today. The single “Adangaatha Asuran”, a lyric video, has been released on the social media platforms of the maestro.
The movie is directed by the actor himself and produced by Kalanidhi Maran for Sun Pictures.
“Adangaatha Asuran” is sung by Dhanush and AR Rahman for the lyrics penned by Poetu Dhanush. Dhanush is also the writer of the movie.
This is first time Dhanush and AR Rahman are collaborating as the actor lending his voice for a trippy, heart-thumping Tamil track. According to the makers of the movie, this celebratory song, with the collaboration of two industry legends promises a unique blend of pulsating beats and mesmerizing melodies.
Apart from Dhanush’, the movie also features an ensemble cast including S. J. Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Selvaraghavan, Prakash Raj, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Saravanan, Aravind Akash, Jayaram and Nandha Durairaj.
Raayan is expected to release in the second week of June and it will be released in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu languages. The shooting for the project had started in July 2023. Before Raayan, Dhanush ventured into direction with Pa Paandi in 2017. The versatile actor was last seen in the period drama Captain Miller.
