ED Attaches ₹39 Lakh Assets Linked To Actor Jayasurya In Save Box App Case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached assets worth ₹39 lakh allegedly linked to Malayalam actor Jayasurya in connection with the Save Box app case.

The action was taken under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The ED case is based on four FIRs registered by Thrissur East Police after investors complained of being cheated.

According to officials, the online bidding app “Save Box” promised high returns to investors.

Many people allegedly deposited money believing they would earn profits. However, they later claimed they were cheated.

The ED investigation revealed that the app was reportedly operated by Swathi Rahim.

Sources said ₹30 lakh was transferred through banking channels to Jayasurya’s business partner.
