Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, a movie which stays close to heart, is a typhoon of melodramatic catharsis where every component just fits in perfectly. But do you know, that an outfit of Hrithik Roshan was about to be imperfect during the shoot of the film?

Could you imagine the Bollywood Greek God Hrithik Roshan in a “girly” t-shirt in the much-celebrated movie? Don’t worry, that was prevented by an anonymous English lady.

Hrithik Roshan, who wowed the audience with his charm in the melodrama, almost wore a not-so-good-lookinh t-shirt for the song Deewana Hai Dekho that was filmed as a college sequence between him and Kareena Kapoor Khan. So, exactly at the 54th second of the song (as per the YouTube video) you can notice Hrithik walking into the scene wearing a black t-shirt, jacket, and red trousers. The point is that he initially wore a different outfit that made him look, as the woman put it, “girly.”

Do you know who was the reason behind the change? A video, which has surfaced on social media, reveals a British woman who changed Hrithik’s view over the outfit.

The woman asks Hrithik, “What are you doing in the scene?” to which he says, “Dancing. No, I’m just walking. She (Kareena) is dancing.” The woman then asks if Kareena is his girlfriend in the scene to which Hrithik replies, “Not yet. Just about to become.” The woman then asks, “Just by the way you walk? Just by the way you’re wearing that girly t-shirt?”

The criticism changed the actor’s decision  and Hrithik immediately said, “Actually that’s why I’m not wearing it now.” The woman then explains, “I can imagine that shirt on a girl. That’s all I’m saying. Not on any girl. A butch girl.”

And then Hrithik changed into the stylish red and black outfit, which is featured in the song.

Helmed by Karan Johar, the film starred Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles.

The movie tells the story of a family, that faces troubles due to a misunderstanding over their adopted son’s (Shah Rukh Khan) marriage to a girl (Kajol) belonging to a lower socio-economic group than them. The movie was a blockbuster hit along with the songs and continues to make a lasting mark on the audience.
