The directorial debut of the Malayalam actor Joju George’s Pani is gearing up for its Tamil release today. Emerging as a hit film in Kerala with good box office records, the film is now here to impress the Tamil audience.
The gangster crime thriller of Joju George introduced the actor as a director in Malayalam cinema. With Abhinaya, Sagar Surya, Junaiz VP, and others on board, the film was released on October 24. As per reports, this film has grossed Rs 33.32 crore at the box office in its 25 days of release.

Since the film caught the attention of the audiences in Kerala, it promises to impress the Tamil audience as well. Moreover, the film also received appreciations from various established actors like Suriya and Kamal Haasan and directors, namely Anurag Kashyap, Karthik Subbaraj, and others.
Supporting the film’s release, actor Vijay Sethupathi has released the film’s poster and conveyed his wishes to the team.

The film was produced by Joju’s banner, Appu Pathu Pappu Productions, in collaboration with AD Studios and Sree Gokulam Movies. Pani narrates the story of a group of powerful gangsters in Thrissur who have been leading low-profile lives compared to their crime-ridden past. But when two youngsters (Junaiz VP and Sagar Surya) commit a criminal act on one of their family members, it leads to a chain of retributive deeds that have a much mental toll on the gangsters and their family while leaving a trail of blood in its wake.
