Kapil Sharma-Sunil Grover Duo Is Back For Netflix Show

Finally, they are back. Now, you will see Gutthi and Dr Mashoor Gulati along with Kapil Sharma. Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover have buried their hatchet and now will work together for a new comedy show that will be streamed on Netflix. Kiku Sharda, Archana Puran Singh, Krushna Abhishek and Rajiv will also feature in the new show.

In a shock to the fans, Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover had gone separate ways after a fallout when the former’s show The Kapil Sharma Show was in the peak in 2018. The reason was, reportedly a fight between the two comedians onboard flight while they were coming back from a show in Australia.

After Sunil, Krushna Abhishek, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar had left the show in between. One of the major departures from the show was of Navjot Singh Sidhu who had to leave the role of “permanent guest” after political backlashes due to his visit to Pakistan during Imran Khan”s swearing in. Archana Puran Singh replaced Sidhu in his role.

In the promo, shared by many of the The Kapil Sharma Show members, Kapil Sharma comes to the video first and introduce himself, and Sunil shares the frame. Kapil says that he is Kapil Sharma and mentioned that he would soon be coming with a show.

Then the both discuss about the plans for the new show and Kapil mentions that they are going to 190 countries and Australia is one of them, in reference to the famous fallout between both the comedians. Sunil then hesitantly asks Kapil to avoid it, but later agrees that they will go by road, not by air.

The Kapil Sharma Show, which is being broadcast on Sony, is a comedy and talk show as similar as Comedy Nights with Kapil, that was aired on Colors between 2013 and 2016.

From 2016, the show has now passed 5 seasons and the last episode was aired in September 2022.

The primary genre is comedy, as the show is known for its humorous content, stand-up performances, and comedic sketches. Additionally, it incorporates elements of a talk show, as Kapil Sharma interviews celebrity guests, engaging in conversations and light-hearted banter with them.
