Actor Darshan is already out on bail granted based on medical grounds. With strict restrictions, a six weeks of interim bail was granted by the Karnataka high court on October 30. As per the reports, all the other accused are expected to be released from jail on December 16.
The Kannada actor, his partner Pavithra Gowda, and 15 others were named in the chargesheet for being involved in the murder of a supposed fan Renukaswamy. Upon investigation it was revealed that the victim had allegedly sent obscene messages to the prime accused of the case and the actor’s friend Pavithra, which led to the murder. The actor faced charges including conspiracy and murder under various sections of the Indian Penal code.
