Actor Mohanlal shared a deeply personal and joyous moment today on his social media accounts, receiving a signed jersey from football legend Lionel Messi.
The iconic No. 10 jersey wasn’t just signed, it had Mohanlal’s name handwritten by Messi himself, making the gift all the more profound.
In the video, Messi himself is signing the jersey, a moment fans across the world dream of. Mohanlal, beaming with childlike excitement, is seen unwrapping the jersey and proudly posing with it.

The jersey was handed over to him on the sets of Hridayapoorvam, the upcoming film directed by Sathyan Anthikad.

Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, the Malayalam action thriller is the second chapter in the Lucifer trilogy and has reportedly raked in around ₹325 crore in theatrical and business revenue within its first 30 days.
Following that, Mohanlal will be seen in Thudarum, a Malayalam crime drama directed by Tharun Moorthy and co-starring Shobana, which is scheduled for release on April 25, 2025.
