4K Remastered Version Of Mohanlal's Evergreen 'Kireedam' Returns To Theatres On July 10
The Mohanlal’ blockbuster movie, Kireedam is all set to return to the big screen next Friday, July 10. The 4K remastered version of Mohanlal’s most celebrated films was originally released in 1989.
Directed by Sibi Malayil and written by A K Lohithadas, the movie is widely regarded as a classic work in Malayalam cinema, which also remains one of the defining works in Mohanlal’s career.

Mohanlal’s portrayal of Sethumadhavan continuing to be hailed as one of the most memorable performances in the industry’s history. In a social media post, the actor shared the news with a caption ‘the crown returns.’

The restoration, with Dolby Atmos sound, has been carried out jointly by the National Film Archive of India (NFAI) and the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC). The restored version is being presented by NFDC in association with Seven Arts International Ltd.
