Mohanlal starrer Neru, directed by Jeethu Joseph receives positive response on social media as the return of the actor with a powerful performance. The movie reached theatres today. Neru is a courtroom drama, and while championing for a justice, it delves into the emotional aspect of the story. The movie features an ensemble cast including Anaswara Rajan, Jagadeesh, Siddique, and Priyamani.

The role of advocate Vijayamohan, public prosecutor was safe in the hands of Mohanlal. The limitations exhibited by the movie was surpassed by the powerful performance of the actor, even while portraying nuances of the character. The engaging courtroom scenes proved advantageous to the film. When the movie suffered flaw in terms of elements of exaggeration, elongation of scenes, and pushing for suspense, Mohanlal”s performance held the movie together and enabled to set aside the pitfalls. Similarly, the performance of Anaswara Rajan deserves special mention.

Neru marks fourth collaboration between Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph. The movie has been  produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. Vishnu Shyam scored the music for the film and Satheesh Kurup handled the cinematography.
