Saif Ali Khan, the Bollywood star, is currently recovering in the Leelawati Hospital after suffering multiple stab wounds in an attack that took place at his Mumbai residence this morning. Mumbai police have intensified the investigations into the attack.
Actor Saif Ali Khan suffered injuries after he reportedly intervened in an altercation between his housekeeper and the unknown attacker. The police now suspect the housekeeper might know the attacker.

As per the Mumbai police, the housekeeper must have allowed him to enter the house, and due to some reason, a fight took place. She is now being interrogated by the local police to get more details about the accused. Seven police teams are allocated to track the suspect. The report also claimed that the accused had been locked in one of the rooms, but he managed to flee.
A statement released by Saif’s team confirmed that he has undergone surgery and is now out of danger. His progress is being monitored by doctors as he is currently in recovery. It also mentioned that all family members are safe and the incident is being investigated by the police.
As per a report, the actor has been moved to the ICU and will be under observation for a day.

For the unversed, this morning around 2:30 am, an unknown person entered Saif and Kareena Kapoor’s residence in Bandra (west). The actor was alerted to the situation after an altercation between the intruder and his domestic help ensued.
When Saif tried to intervene and pacify the man, he attacked the actor and stabbed him. The actor suffered six injuries, of which two are deep cuts. One of the injuries is closer to his spine; the other is near his neck.
Apart from Saif and Kareena, their two sons, Taimur and Jeh, were also reportedly in the house when the assault took place. The actor was taken to the Lilavati Hospital around 3:30 am by his son, Ibrahim Ali Khan.
