Saif Ali Khan To Reboot 'Race' Franchise: Report (Image-X/SaifUpdates)
Saif Ali Khan is reportedly on board to reboot his action thriller franchise Race, with the dynamic duo Abbas-Mustan, the original directors, not returnign . Targeted as a 2025 release, the actor is on a mission to bring back the lost glory of the action-thriller, as per several reports.
The Race franchise, which lost the pulsating buzz on its previous installment Race 3 with Salman Khan and Remo D’Souza, is reportedly back in the hands of Saif, who led the first two films, for its next part Race 4 which is speculated to be titled as Race Reboot.

In order to reboot the action thriller, Saif has reportedly been in discussions with producer Ramesh Taurani for quite some time, and the two finally seemed to have agreed to bring the franchise back to life with its upcoming installment.
Reports revealed that Saif seems excited to get into the world of Race again and bring the series back to life. Reportedly, Taurani is aiming to take the film on floors in the first quarter of 2025.
The core plot of the upcoming sequel has been locked and the screenplay is still under tuning, as per reports. Along with the actor, the film is set to feature an ensemble cast as always, which is yet to be revealed. In the vision of bringing new perspectives, the makers are already in talks with several filmmakers to bring a blasting reboot.

The actor will be next seen in Devara Part 1 with Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor. On his birthday, the makers shared the first look of his character Bhaira, looking fierce while he’s out for a hunt. The film is releasing on September 27.
