The threat comes two days after the Mumbai police arrested a 20-year-old man from Noida in Uttar Pradesh for allegedly issuing a death threat to Salman and the NCP leader and Baba Siddique’s son Zeeshan Siddique.

The police officials stated that the accused had initially sent threatening messages to Zeeshan’s helpline number and later made a voice call on it. The incident took place on Friday at Zeeshan’s public relations office located in Bandra East, where the accused issued a death threat to him and the Bollywood actor.

The Mumbai Traffic Police control room received the initial threat message on October 18 in the name of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, demanding a ransom of Rs 5 crore. On October 21, the Mumbai police received an apology from the same sender, stating that the message was sent by mistake.

However, with the help of the local police in Jamshedpur, the accused was arrested earlier and will be brought to Mumbai soon.

In a recent interview, Zeeshan mentioned that the death of his father has made Salman extremely worried, affecting the actor’s sleep. Amidst all the chaos, the actor has been supporting the Siddique family.

Three-time MLA and former state minister, Baba Siddique, was shot dead outside his son’s Bandra office on October 12. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the crime and cited the politician’s close ties with Salman as one of the reasons behind the killing.
