A fresh new threat message has been sent to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, allegedly by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang demanding an amount of Rs 5 crore. The message was sent to Mumbai Traffic Police warning that if Salman Khan failed to pay the amount, he would face a fate worse than that of former minister Baba Siddique.
“Don’t take this lightly. If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay ₹ 5 crore. If the money is not given, his condition will be worse than Baba Siddiqui’s,” the threat message read.

The Mumbai police have launched an investigation into the matter and increased the security around the actor’s residence. The actor has been on high alert following previous threats, and this recent development raised concerns about his safety.
Amid the series of events, Salman Khan has been granted Y+ security and a heavy police deployment has been made outside Galaxy Apartments. On the other hand, the Mumbai police have arrested a key member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who was identified as Sukhbir Balbir Singh. Singh had reportedly given the contract to other gang members to carry out the attack on the actor.
As per the NDTV report, the accused named in the case are high-profile members of the Bishnoi gang including Lawrence Bishnoi, his brother Anmol, Sampat Nehra, Goldie Brar and Rohit Godhara. And the recent investigation has found details about the gangs planning. As per police sources, the Bishnoi gang had deployed 60 to 70 operatives to monitor Mr Khan’s movements. The gang had even recruited minors to act as sharpshooters.

At the center of the conflict is the hunting and killing of two blackbucks in 1998 allegedly by Salman. Though the matter is in the court, Lawrence who belongs to the community that holds the blackbuck sacred has sworn revenge against the actor.
