Shraddha Kapoor's Influence Surpasses Modi On Instagram
Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, who won the hearts of the millions with her latest release Stree 2 has now become an influential personality on social media with followers surpassing the number secured by the Prime Minister.
With Stree 2 continuing its successful theatrical run since its release on August 15, the fan base of the actress, Shraddha Kapoor has been witnessing an escalation. The actress has 91.5 million Instagram followers, slightly more than Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has 91.3 million followers on the platform.

On the line of being the most influential personality, PM Narendra Modi remains the most-followed global leader on X (formerly Twitter) with over 101.2 million followers. Kapoor is now the third most-followed Indian on the Meta-owned platform, after cricket star Virat Kohli (271 million) and actor Priyanka Chopra (91.8 million).
The horror comedy Stree 2’s box office numbers so far include ₹9.40 crore from Wednesday previews, ₹55.40 crore on Thursday, ₹35.30 crore on Friday, ₹45.70 crore on Saturday, ₹58.20 crore on Sunday, and ₹38.40 crores on Monday, bringing the total to an impressive ₹242.40 crore in India. The movie has also garnered ₹43 crore internationally, bringing its total collection to Rs 285 crore in its first weekend.

The film is part of producer Dinesh Vijan’s larger horror-comedy universe, which also includes titles like Bhediya and Munjya. With an ensemble cast and the special appearance of the stars Varun Dawn and Tamannah Bhatia, the movie has shattered the box office and ranked at the top above all other Independence Day releases.
