An intriguing poster of Hansal Mehta directorial ‘The Buckingham Murders’, described as a London set thriller, dropped. The movie has already left an indelible mark at the BFI London Film Festival 2023 and received a standing ovation from the audience. Without delaying, the poster featuring the unique look of Kareena Kapoor was posted on social media. Apart from the lead role, the film also marks Kareena”s debut as a producer.
Featuring Kareena Kapoor, caught by two cops in the poster, has accelerated the excitement to watch the movie. Kareena, handling both the detective and motherhood roles, has a bold lady look that is going to bring a captivating story of international standard. She recently shared her fascination with the detective series genre, and she penned her entire journey to the film and the role she has been waiting to play for the last 23 years on her Instagram post.
The movie revolves around a detective tasked with investigating the murder of a 10-year-old. Earlier, Kareena revealed that her character is inspired by Kate Winslet’s character in Mare of East town. The film premiered at the prestigious 67th BFI London Film Festival 2023.
Apart from Kareena Kapoor, the movie also stars Ash Tado, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen. Directed by Hansal Mehta and written by Aseem Arora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker, ‘The Buckingham Murders’ is produced by Balaji Telefilms and TBM Film alongside Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor. After Lal Singh Chadha, this will be Kareena’s return to the big screen.
