Edited by Fathimathu Shana

Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham turned 22 today. The iconic movie manages to be at the top of fans’ hearts even after 22 years of its release. Kajol and Karan Johar pen down heartfelt notes about the movie on their Instagram. The duo took a poignant trip down the memory lane.

In a lovely montage of beautiful stills from the movie, Kajol took her fans through the “long lasting memory”. Remembering the legendary Yash Johar, she recollected lovely hullabaloos that happened behind the scenes of the movie, from setting up new make-up rooms for the “gigantic starrer” to how Karan Johar collapsed on set due to dehydration during the first few days of the shoot, as it was “really really hot.”

The Salaam Venky star also mentioned how Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham was Aryan Khan’s debut movie. Kajol concluded her note by saying that “this was a truly HUGE film in every which way, in life and cinema”.
