Unni Mukundan's "Most Violent" Film Marco To Hit Theaters Torday

Unni Mukundan is all set to paint this Christam ‘bloody red’ with his film Marco. The film is all poised to hit theatres today, and is releasing in five languages. The hype for Marco has been huge. The film is expected to be the most violent film to be released in Malayalam. It also secured an ‘A’ certificate from the censor board.

The film is helmed by Haneef Adeni, and is produced by Shareef Mohammed. Unni Mukundan did a great job as an antagonist character named Marco in the film Mikhael. While some believe the Marco Junior in the new releasing Marco is related to the one in Mikhael, others believe that the character is a whole different league. Marco is expected to deliver a raw and intense action-packed thriller. Speaking about the film, actor Jagadish earlier said that he is a little afraid that he has done cruelty like he had done never before. He was commenting about his role in the film during an interview with Red FM.

Unni Mukundan has went through some intense physical transformation for the film. His last film was Jai Ganesh, in which he acted as a differently abled man who is confined to a wheelchair. In Marco, the star is sporting a rugged look, a complete gangster. Marco is expected to be a visual treat for all the fans who were eagerly waiting.

Apart from Unni Mukundan, Siddique, Jagadish, Anson Paul, Kabir Duhansingh (of Turbo fame), Abhimanyu Thilakan, Yukti Thareja also appear in key roles.

Tickets for online booking has been sold out as soon as it started in many theatres. Reportedly, the pre-booking sale of the film has surpassed 90 lakhs.
