Upendra's Surrealist Action Thriller 'UI' Gets A New Release Date (Image-X/nimmaupendra)

The renowned actor-director Upendra, who is currently setting the arena for the grand launch of his upcoming Pan Indian release UI, announced the release date of the fim today.

The Coolie actor as announced earlier has dropped the major update with a intriguing poster on his X handle. previously slated for the October release, now the makers have changed their mind to December.

So, audience get ready to see the world of UI and to witness the bold venture of Upendra, hitting theaters on December 20. The announcement came with a striking poster featuring a war zone. It’s design, with it’s purplish red colour that evokes a sensation of spooky in the audience, fuels the spirit of the thriller.

Upendra not only stars in UI,  but also serves as its writer and director. Reeshma Nanaiah plays the female lead, with a supporting cast including Murali Sharma, P. Ravi Shankar, and Nidhi Subbaiah. The film boasts impressive crew credentials with Shiva Kumar, known for his work on KGF 1 & 2, is the art director, and Ajaneesh Loknath composes the music. Producers KP Sreekanth and G. Manoharan are joined by cinematographer HC Venugopal.

And above all these, the caption written by the makers seems quite interesting. On a challenging note, the makers have written, “All these days you watched the movies and decided weather it’s a hit or a flop. This movie will watch you.”
