Leo, third instalment from Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Lokesh Cinematic Universe (widely known by fans as LCU), staring Tamil superstar Vijay, just broke a record. Industry analyst Taran Adarsh reported that the movie, distributed in United Kingdom and Europe by Ahimsa Entertainment, has already beaten PS1 for the Tamil advance booking record in UK. The Vijay thriller, with the slogan of “Stay Calm And Prepare For Battle”, is scheduled to begin its theatrical run on October 19.
According to Mr Adarsh, Leo is targeting to surpass the current single-day earnings for an Indian film in UK, a record presently held by Pathaan. Leo“s first day booking in UK recorded 32500.
Leo is the most anticipated and expected film of Thalapathy (as fans call Vijay) of this year. The movie has completed its post-production works and is all set to shock the waves from October 19, as the Tamil actor has a huge fan base in South India as well as in overseas. It has also crossed the advance booking records set by Rajanikanth”s Jailer which was released on August 10.
According to Times of India, the Vijay starrer smashed Jailer which collected 66,000 euros and has grossed 68,000 euros in advance ticket sales by Friday September 29. Unbelievable! There are 20 more days left for the movie to smash the big screen!
Leo, releasing in five languages including Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, is expected to induce a harsh hit on the Hindi belt as the earlier Vijay-Lokesh Master has earned a substantial strike in the Bollywood patronage.
Leo is written by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy, and produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio while Jagadish Palanisamy serves as co-producer. Besides Lokesh Kanakaraj, the most anticipated and forecasted factor of the movie is to be sure the Anirudh crafted music magic that could beat with the style and swag of Vijay as well as the thrilling mastery of Lokesh.
Apart from Vijay, the movie stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan and Mysskin.
