Leo, one of the most-awaited films of the year, will make its grand debut in cinemas tomorrow, October 19. As fans worldwide are eagerly waiting for the release of Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan-starrer Leo, actor-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin watched the film and took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his review.

Udhayanidhi Stalin, also a DMK leader and Tamil Nadu minister, praised actor Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Anirudh Ravichander in his tweet. “”Thalabathy @actorvijay Anna’s #Leo @Dir_Lokesh excellent filmmaking, @anirudhofficial music, @anbariv master @7screenstudio #LCU! All the best team !” Udhayanidhi Stalin wrote on his X handle.

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has made a universe of his movies that are to each other. The first film in this universe is Kaithi, which was released in 2019. The second installment was Vikram, released in 2022. Earlier, there were reports that the makers of Leo had met the producers of Kaithi and Vikram to obtain a No-Objection Certificate to add elements from these films to another. However, in a recent interview, Lokesh Kanagaraj stated that he did not want to disappoint his fans by doing “small things” to connect Leo to the Lokesh Cinematic Universe or LCU.

Leo, produced by Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy, also features Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt in a major role. The film also stars Arjun, Mysskin, Priya Anand, Babu Antony, and Gautham Vasudev Menon. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music for this action thriller film. At the same time, the movie will not have 4 a.m. or 7 a.m. shows in Tamil Nadu, and the first shows will begin at 9 a.m. in the state. In Karnataka and Kerala, the first shows will begin at 4 a.m.
