While complaining about the current status of all the existing problems in Delhi and Bangalore, Ms Lal said, “Bangalore is not going to be liveable in the next 5 years. Just like Delhi isn”t now.” She further asked about the options of cities which remain livable in terms of safety and rising pollution. “Folks, which city are we all planning to go to and make unliveable next?”, she added.

As the IIT graduate shared the post regarding the livability of the cities on “X”, she received mixed reactions from the users. One user asked, “Wdym Delhi isn’t liveable? And please come up with a better reason than pollution”. In her response Anjali Lal mentioned the reasons behind her post and said, “Have lived 20+ years in Delhi NCR. Still have home in Gurgaon. Not being able to breathe and crime against women are more than enough reasons but I could list more.”

Another user responded by countering her remark by citing the environmental problem as a universal issue. The user said, “Delhi is good in infrastructure. Pollution is an issue but that is for nearly whole of North India to a certain extent. Delhi is better than Bangalore in water availability.”
