AI Powered Cancer Vaccine Within Two Days: Oracle Chief

As cancer continues to be a nightmare, with the research regarding the deadly disease still not being perfect, Oracle Chairman Larry Ellison’s announcement has made headlines. As the presence of AI has been felt in every field, the tech leader’s remark about cancer vaccine and treatment using AI has given hopes to thousands across the world.

The Oracle Chairman stated that artificial intelligence (AI) can detect cancer and help develop a vaccine. During the gathering in the White House, which included SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman,  Ellison stated that within 48 hours, the vaccine would be available for every individual.

Speaking at the gathering, the Ellison claimed that little fragments of those tumours float around in the body and people can do early cancer detection using an AI blood test. “Once we gene sequence that cancer tumour, you can then vaccinate the person—design a vaccine for every person that vaccinates them against that cancer. That mRNA vaccine, you can make that robotically, again using AI, in about 48 hours,” the Oracle chairman added.

Ellison also highlighted the potential of AI in advancing cancer care, personalised vaccines, and their rapid production, surprisingly asserting that they would become reality within just two days.

The declaration of future AI promise from the tech leader comes after US President Donald Trump announced up to $500 billion in private investment into AI infrastructure development soon after taking charge. OpenAI, SoftBank, and Oracle are planning a joint venture called Stargate that will build data centres that are under construction in Texas. The Oracle chairman hopes the project could power AI to analyse electronic health records and help doctors care for their patients.
