Bengaluru's Chairman's Club Kitchen Shut Over Expired Food, Mislabelled Ingredients And Hygiene Violations
Bengaluru, Karnataka: Food Safety Wing of the Department of Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA) on Thursday raided kitchen of Chairman’s Club at Sahakaranagar in Bengaluru. After finding several food safety violations and hygiene issues, the officials shut the kitchen.
During the raid, officials discovered 40 kg of expired chili, mislabeled ingredients, unauthorized and severe hygiene issues like cross-contamination and unsanitary storage.

After seizing the items, the officials closed the kitchen immediately, and started legal action under the Food Safety and Standards Act. The closure is part of wider checks on Bengaluru’s elite clubs.
