India Records 10 New Coronavirus Cases (image:pixabay)
India has recorded 10 new coronavirus infections, while active cases has been increased to 152, data updated by Union Health Ministry records. The death toll stood at 5,33,295, the data updated at 8 am stated.
India”s total Covid case is 4.50 crore (4,50,01,492) since the beginning of the pandemic. As per health ministry”s records, the number of people who have recovered from the disease has increased to 4,44,68,045 and the national recovery count constitutes 98.81 per cent. The case fatality rate stands at 1.19 per cent.
The ministry”s website denotes that until now, 220.67 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been delivered in the country.
Two days before, Times of India reported that a four-month-old Beliaghata ID Hospital in Kolkata was showing symptoms of Covid. However, she was identified before the scheduled surgery to rectify a heart fault. Following the hospital sent her to Dr BC Roy Post Graduate Institute of Paediatric Sciences.
“We are getting one or two Covid patients on regular basis, some with pneumonia. But the numbers are not high enough to raise the alarm, TOI quotes as pulmonologist Kausik Chaudhury of the hospital saying.
Medical practitioners convey that since Corona virus is unaffected to varyong climatic condition like temperature or humidity, the flare-up is likely to happen in every four to six months.
