Actor Devan To Join TVK Days After Leaving BJP, Set To Meet Tamil Nadu CM Vijay
Kerala: Actor Devan is likely to join Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), days after announcing his resignation from the BJP as its Kerala vice-president on August 16.
The actor cited his perspective mismatch with BJP’s politics noting that the saffron party does not match the ideals of Sree Narayana Guru. Devan said he would support Vijay’s vision noting that many young people in Kerala want a similar alternative. The actor is set to meet the Tamil Nadu chief minster in Chennai soon.

TVK, which is currently active only in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, plans to expand in South India, and Kerala is a key target. As per reports, Devan is likely to become TVK’s Kerala president.
