Scolded By A Customer For Being Late: Delivery Executive Commits Suicide

A 19-year-old food delivery executive died by suicide as he was allegedly scolded by a woman customer for being late on his grocery delivery. The young man was found dead on Tuesday, in his residence in Kolathur, Chennai.

The deceased was identified as J Pavithran, BCom student, who was working part-time as an aggregator. As per the police, the delivery was delayed as he could not locate the house. But when he managed to hand over the delivery, the woman customer argued with him and later raised a complaint with the delivery company. Devastated by this, the delivery agent took the extreme step of ending his life by committing suicide.
