Travelling here and there in Bangalore is so much fuss that the traffic consumes half of the day’s time to reach the destination. Validating this, Google Maps found that it’s quicker to walk than to drive through the unending traffic chaos. Since it’s an IT hub for many, the transportation infrastructure is yet to get advanced to keep pace with the galore number of on-road vehicles.
An X user shared the travelling distance in Bangalore from one place to the other with a Google map screenshot that it is better to walk by path than driving through roads. The post has reached 6 lakh people in less than a day.

An AAP member and spokesperson Ashok Mruthyunjaya has asked about the cause of this traffic jam as he slams the government for the lack of better public transportation and last-mile connectivity in Bangalore. Taking the Bangalore traffic snarls, it is a regular thing that users post on social media as they are stuck in traffic for several hours in the morning when they head up to the office and confront the same plight in the evening when they go back home. India’s Silicon Valley copes with the traffic tangles regularly even if whichever government come and goes traffic issues remain the same and maybe more than that.
