Bystander Confronts Man Harassing Muslim Couple Wearing Hijab In Noida
Noida, Uttar Pradesh: A man allegedly drinking alcohol in public noticed a Muslim couple and harassed them by asking their names and identification in Gaur City 2, Noida on Friday.
Video has now emerged online showing locals confronting the man for his communal slurs. A woman was heard strongly questioning the man’s authority to ask the couple for their names and identification after he noticed the woman wearing a hijab. “You have no right to ask questions. Who gave you the right? Who gave you the authority? Which government gave you the right, idiot?” the woman asked the man.

The woman is then seen telling the Muslim woman not to fear such men, while asking the couple to leave. Even after this, the abusive man insisted on not allowing the couple to leave and followed them. The crowd intervened and protested the man’s behaviour, allowing the couple to leave the scene.
